KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Sept. 24, 2019) – United Soccer Coaches released the latest rankings for all levels of the NCAA, Junior College and NCCAA men’s and women’s soccer on Tuesday. Four new teams grabbed the top spots in their respective ranking, while other top teams strengthened their grip on No. 1.

Thanks to a 6-0 start, the Stanford men’s team jumped into the top spot in the NCAA Division I men’s rankings for the first time this season, while Virginia strengthened its hold on the top spot in the women’s poll.
In NCAA Division II, Adelphi is in the top spot in the men’s poll for the second straight week as is UC San Diego on the women’s side. Both teams are 5-0 on the season.
At the NCAA Division III level, Tufts University continues its stay at the top spot of the men’s ranking, while Messiah College took over the top spot in the women’s ranking.
The men’s and women’s teams from Monroe College-New Rochelle continue to hold down the No. 1 spots in the Junior College Division I polls for the third straight week. There was no change at the top of the Junior College Division III men’s poll with Mount San Antonio College atop the rankings for the third straight week, however, Lake Tahoe Community College jumped into the No. 1 spot women’s ranking for the first time this season.
Oklahoma Wesleyan stayed at No. 1 in the latest NCCAA Division I men’s poll as did Trinity Christian College in the women’s ranking. In NCCAA Division II, Pensacola Christian College is No. 1 in the men’s poll again this week, while Bob Jones University took over the top spot in the women’s ranking.
United Soccer Coaches college rankings, released every Tuesday during the regular season, are an indicator of the week-to-week status of qualified programs and in no way should be used as a guide or indicator of eligibility for championship selection. To be eligible for consideration in United Soccer Coaches college rankings, a school must be a member of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program.
