KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Oct. 3, 2023) – United Soccer Coaches released the association’s college rankings for men’s and women’s soccer in all divisions of NCAA and junior college competition on Tuesday.

Marshall University earned the No. 1 spot on the NCAA Division I men’s poll and University of North Carolina claimed the top spot on the women’s poll.

At the NCAA Division II level, Franklin Pierce University and Ashland University took No. 1 on the men’s and women’s poll, respectively.

Messiah University claimed the top spot on the men’s poll, while Carnegie Mellon University claimed No. 1 on the women’s poll at the NCAA Division III level.

At the Junior College Division I level, Monroe College-New Rochelle collected the No. 1 spot on the men’s poll and Iowa Western Community College took the No. 1 spot on the women’s poll.

Northeast Community College earned No. 1 on the men’s poll, while Holmes Community College earned No. 1 on the women’s poll for Junior College Division II.

In NJCAA Division III, El Camino College claimed No. 1 on the men’s poll while Saddleback College claimed  No. 1 on the women’s poll, respectively. 

United Soccer Coaches college rankings, released every Tuesday during the regular season, are an indicator of the week-to-week status of qualified programs and in no way should be used as a guide or indicator of eligibility for championship selection. To be eligible for consideration in United Soccer Coaches college rankings, a school must be a member of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program.
