KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Nov. 10, 2020) — United Soccer Coaches announced the latest Fall High School Rankings, sponsored by Verizon, for boys and girls soccer in the fall season on Tuesday. A new No. 1 team sits atop the girls’ poll as both top fives see a big shakeup.

Mars Area (Mars, Pa.) took over the top spot in the girls’ rankings this week with Davis (Kaysville, Utah) moving up one spot into second. Strongsville (Strongsville, Ohio), Winchester (Winchester, Mass.), and Father Ryan (Nashville, Tenn.) all moved into the top five for the first time in third through fifth, respectively.

St. Ignatius (Cleveland, Ohio) continues its stronghold on the top spot in the boys’ rankings, but the rest of the top five saw some movement. Marquette University High (Milwaukee, Wis.) moved up one spot to No. 2, while Fayetteville Manlius (Manlius, N.Y.) jumped into the top five at No. 3. Carmel Christian School (Mathews, N.C) moved up one spot into the fourth position, where they sit in a tie with Gill St Bernard’s (Gladstone, N.J.).
