KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Oct. 4, 2022) – United Soccer Coaches released the latest NCAA Division I men’s and women’s soccer rankings on Tuesday.

On the women’s poll, UCLA claimed the No. 1 position again this week, followed by Virginia in second, and Florida State in third. Alabama climbed into the No. 4 spot and North Carolina dropped two spots to No. 5.United Soccer Coaches college rankings, released every Tuesday during the regular season, are an indicator of the week-to-week status of qualified programs and in no way should be used as a guide or indicator of eligibility for championship selection. To be eligible for consideration in United Soccer Coaches college rankings, a school must be a member of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program.
University of Washington claimed the top spot on the men’s poll this week, followed by Duke in second, and Kentucky in third. Wake Forest fell three spots to No. 4 and Stanford rose one spot to No. 5.
