KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 19, 2020) — United Soccer Coaches has released the latest High School Rankings for boys and girls soccer in the winter and spring seasons. However, due to the number of suspensions and cancellations for the remainder of the 2020 season the rankings will be suspended indefinitely from this point.

In the winter rankings, St. Paul’s School from Covington, La. took over the top spot in the boys’ ranking, jumping up two spots from No. 3, with a 28-0-1 mark on the year. On the girls’ side of things, Upland, Calif. moved up from the No. 2 spot to sit atop the poll. Upland is 29-1-0 on the season.

Johnson-Gainesville (Gainesville, Ga.) is the new No. 1 team in the first spring regular season boys rankings thanks to a 7-0-0 start to the season. St. Dominic (O’Fallon, Mo.) is the top-ranked team in the girls’ spring poll, but has yet to start its season.

Additionally, the United Soccer Coaches/MaxPreps High School Player of the Week awards are also being suspended indefinitely.
