The United Soccer Coaches Foundation’s mission is to provide financial support for coaching education and other developmental opportunities for United Soccer Coaches members who bring soccer to underserved socioeconomic communities and Advocacy groups.

Why Donating Matters

CoachesGive™ is the philanthropic platform of United Soccer Coaches. Anchored by the United Soccer Coaches Foundation, CoachesGive™ expands the opportunities to empower soccer coaches and the important work they do through grants and scholarships that support: Attendance at the United Soccer Coaches Convention, Advanced Educational Courses, Host-a-Course, and For the Good of the Game Projects.

Our Foundation has continued its many successes in the past year. Through our Foundation’s coaching education and convention scholarships, the association was able to aid coaches from three different counties. From across the nation, Alaska to Florida, our Foundation awarded 31 scholarships and four host-a-course grants. From 2020 to 2021, our Foundation supported 2,256 United Soccer Coaches members through Target donations during COVID-19’s impact and raised over $20,000 dollars during Giving Tuesday in November 2021.In this past year, several funds have passed endowment milestone level, including the Walt Chyzowych Fund ($100,000) and the Bill and Kay Holleman Fund ($50,000). In addition, two new funds have been announced, the Roy and Terrie Gordon Fund and the Dan Woog Staples High School/LGBTQ Fund.
