KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Aug. 30, 2023) – United Soccer Coaches announced its College Player of the Week awards on Wednesday afternoon, with two student-athletes representing NCAA Division I men’s and women’s soccer.

In his start to the season, Zach Bohane secured his first career brace, netting two goals that led his team to victory. His performance didn’t go unnoticed, as he also earned his first career Pac-12 Player of the Week award, showcasing his talent on the field.

Williams turned a 1-1 match at the break quickly into a 3-1 advantage for the Red Raiders when she scored in both the 50th and 56th minutes to record her second-career hat trick. On Sunday afternoon, Williams became the first Red Raider in program history to record three straight multiple-goal games when she recorded yet another brace in the Red Raider’s 3-0 win over Utah State. The nation’s leader in goals, Williams has now scored 16 times in her last 14 matches including seven goals in her last three matches.

Each Wednesday during the college regular season, United Soccer Coaches selects a men’s and women’s Player of the Week for NCAA Divisions I, II, and III and Junior College competition based on nominations from schools and conferences. Nominations are due every Tuesday by 10 a.m. CT to be considered.
