KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Mar. 23, 2021) – United Soccer Coaches announced its College Player of the Week awards on Tuesday afternoon with three student-athletes representing NCAA Divisions I and III.

NCAA Division I Men: Neil Strauber (Florida Atlantic)
NCAA Division I Women: Jenna Menta (Georgetown)
NCAA Division III Men: Nick Iregui (Westminster College)

Florida Atlantic junior goalkeeper Neil Strauber (Tel Aviv, Israel) earned his fourth clean sheet of the season and matched his season-high with six saves, while not allowing a single shot to find the back of the net in a 1-0 win on the road at Old Dominion. Straubers sits tied for fourth in Florida Atlantic program history with most shutouts in a season (4). On the women’s side, Georgetown senior forward Jenna Menta (Somers, N.Y.) led the Hoyas to wins over UConn and Seton Hall with two goals and an assist. The senior forward scored both goals in Georgetown’s 2-1 home win over the Huskies on Thursday, including the 96th-minute golden goal, and providing an assist in Sunday’s 3-0 win at Seton Hall.

In NCAA Division III, Westminster College (PA) senior forward Nick Iregui (Gig Harbor, Wash.) broke the Westminster career points record with a goal in the 53rd minute against Bethany on Saturday, marking his 100th career point as a Titan. Iregui broke the previous record of 98 career points held by Titan Hall of Famer Matt Roser (2000-03).

Each Tuesday during the college regular season, United Soccer Coaches selects a men’s and women’s Player of the Week for NCAA Divisions I, II, and III and Junior College competition based on nominations from schools and conferences. Nominations are due every Tuesday by 10 a.m. CT to be considered.
