KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Dec. 19, 2019) – United Soccer Coaches announced on Thursday the association’s 2019 National Coaches of the Year for High School boys’ and girls’ soccer as well as the National Youth Coach of the Year and National High School Assistant Coach of the Year.

2019 High School Boys’ National Coaches of the Year
Large School: David Greene, Walt Whitman High School (Md.)
Small School: Ronald Overcast, Worland High School (Wyo.)
Private/Parochial School: James See, Academy of Holy Angels (Minn.)

2019 High School Girls’ National Coaches of the Year
Large School: Brigid Meadow, Vestavia Hills High School (Ala.)
Small School: Eugene Jefferson, Clinton High School (Okla.)
Private/Parochial School: Theresa Hirschauer, Cincinnati Country Day School (Ohio)

2019 High School National Assistant Coach of the Year
Steve Ryan, Northern Valley Regional High School (N.J.)

2019 National Youth Coach of the Year
Adrian Solca, Solar SC (Texas)

In addition to today’s announcement, the association’s 2019 Boys’ and Girls’ Regional Coaches of the Year and High School Regional Assistant Coaches of the Year have been posted in the Awards Central section of UnitedSoccerCoaches.org.

All of the awardees will be recognized at the 2020 United Soccer Coaches Convention in Baltimore.
