KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Sept. 18, 2019) — In partnership with the Scottish Football Association, United Soccer Coaches is excited to announce an exclusive coaching education experience in Scotland where candidates will attend the Scottish FA C License course. The experience will take place Dec. 2-7, 2019.

Candidates will travel to Edinburgh, Scotland where they will attend the Scottish FA C License course including two professional matches and a week of high-quality coaching education. The experience takes place at Oriam, Scotland’s Sports Performance Centre where Scotland’s National Teams train regularly. The Scottish FA C License is a pass/fail course and candidates who receive a passing grade to earn their C license become eligible for the UEFA B License.

Generation adidas International, one of America’s most experienced companies in soccer and travel logistics, is organizing this unique coaching education experience.

“Our Education Department is delighted and honored to partner with the Scottish Football Association and Generation adidas International to give our members some very special access to UEFA coach education programming,” said Ian Barker, United Soccer Coaches Director of Coaching Education. “For members with the Premier Diploma, the opportunity to take and complete the Scottish FA C License adds to their ongoing education and qualifies them to register for the UEFA B with the Scottish FA at any time of their choosing. The addition to the experience of attendance at both a SPL and EPL game strikes the perfect balance of education and experience of unique soccer cultures.”

“We at the Scottish FA are delighted to be offering this bespoke C License course and football experience package in tandem with United Soccer Coaches and Generation adidas International,” said Greig Paterson, Head of Coach Education and Development for the Scottish FA. “Successful completion of our C License course will stand them in good stead in their future coaching careers, as well as providing ease of access to future coach education courses here in Scotland.”

This experience, which is open exclusively to United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma holders, is limited to the first 24 participants and has a registration deadline of Oct. 15. For more information on the experience, click here.
