KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Nov. 17, 2023) – United Soccer Coaches announced on Friday its 2023 Member Club/Youth Awards for its Coach of the Year and All-America programs. The awards were selected from online nominations received from members who were a part of the association’s Member Club program in 2023 and/or youth coaches who are individual members of the organization.

Youth Coach of the Year
Bobby Puppione, Centreville, Va.

The 2023 Youth Coach of the Year is Bobby Puppione from TSJ FC Virginia in Northern Virginia. Puppione is the Girls Academy Director at TSJ FC Virginia, a Coach Educator and Scout, and is on the board of the Washington DC/Baltimore-based non-profit organization Leveling the Playing Field.

A member since 2006, Puppione has been coaching youth soccer for more than 15 years and has earned his United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma and holds a U.S. Soccer A license.
