KANSAS CITY, Mo. (June 18, 2021) – United Soccer Coaches announced their 2020-21 Junior College Men’s and Women’s Region and National Staffs of the Year on Friday. The list includes four region recipients on both the men’s and women’s sides across the three divisions of Junior College soccer this year.

The staff of Salt Lake Community College, Taylorsville, Utah, led by Head Coach Mark Davis was the National Staff of the Year on the men’s side. The Bruins captured the NJCAA Division I Men’s National Championship in an overtime thriller versus Iowa Western Community College to capture its first title in the program’s history.

Tyler Junior College’s women’s soccer staff under head coach Corey Rose, had its program recognized as National Staff of the Year. The Apaches won their fifth NJCAA Division I Women’s National Championship defeating Salt Lake Community College 2-0 in the final.
