KANSAS CITY, Mo. (June 22, 2021) — United Soccer Coaches announced the 2020-21 Junior College Scholar All-America Teams on Tuesday. The lists include 15 men and 26 women recognized for excellence in both the classroom and on the field in the 2020-21 academic year.

Junior College: Men Women

Pablo Marquez, a sophomore forward at Camden County College, Blackwood, N.J., is the Men’s National Scholar Player of the Year. The native of João Pessoa, Brazil led the Cougars to the NJCAA Division III National Tournament and was named a United Soccer Coaches All-American. He has achieved a 3.62 cumulative GPA in Business Administration during his career at Camden County.

Isabel Kopp, a sophomore defender at Tyler Junior College, Tyler, Texas, is the Women’s National Scholar Player of the Year. The Haarlem, Netherlands native, led the Apaches to the NJCAA Division I National Championship, the fifth in the school’s history. Kopp achieved a 3.90 cumulative GPA in General Studies. She was named to the Junior College All-America team last week.
