(October 19, 2023) – United Soccer Coaches announced on Thursday that in partnership with Keeper Wars Ink, an Adult Keeper Wars Event will take place at the 2024 United Soccer Coaches Convention in Anaheim, California, on January 11, 2024. Created to give keepers an exciting 1v1 platform to showcase their talents, Keeper Wars is a soccer competition initiative designed and built for the specialty position of goalkeepers. This will be the first goalkeeper-specific competition of any kind to be hosted inside the annual convention.“During conversations with Nick Webster, Chair of Cal South, about bringing our youth event to Southern, California, he suggested that we reach out to Angie Eliason, COO of United Soccer Coaches,” said Tonya Pinkerton, Keeper Wars Ink Co-founder and President. “Angie has been a delight to brainstorm and plan this event with and we look forward to working with her and her team!
