KANSAS CITY, Mo. (May 31, 2019) – United Soccer Coaches is excited to announce a new coaching education partnership with Missouri Youth Soccer Association (MYSA).
An element of the partnership includes MYSA coaches gaining access to United Soccer Coaches’ Foundations of Coaching eLearning course. It will become a requirement that coaches complete the course for MYSA’s grassroots coaching membership and to coach in an MYSA-sanctioned event.
In addition to the Foundations of Coaching eLearning piece, MYSA members who are not already United Soccer Coaches members will get a free one-month introductory membership to United Soccer Coaches, which includes most eLearning courses, electronic versions of Soccer Journal, the new Online Resource Library with over 1,000 activities, session plans, lectures, articles and more, and the new From the Training Ground newsletter which is content curated by the United Soccer Coaches Education Department.
“The Missouri Youth Soccer Association is excited for the opportunity to partner with the United Soccer Coaches on this coaching education project,” said MYSA Director of Coaching, Jeff Muhr. “As a state association, we work to empower our Missouri coaches with the knowledge and resources needed to create an environment where kids can have fun and develop in the game of soccer. This online educational opportunity makes our Coaching Education Program more accessible to all of our coaches.”
