KANSAS CITY, Mo. (April 28, 2020) — United Soccer Coaches and the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) are excited to announce a new collaborative educational partnership. Through this partnership United Soccer Coaches will provide resources and educational opportunities to FYSA members.

FYSA will receive United Soccer Coaches educational manuals and materials and the two associations will collaborate on educational offerings for FYSA members.

FYSA members will have the ability to become full United Soccer Coaches members at a discounted rate, giving them access to the association’s suite of eLearning materials. Also, each FYSA member who attends a United Soccer Coaches non-residential course, and is not a current United Soccer Coaches member, will receive a free 30-day membership.

“United Soccer Coaches is excited to partner with the Florida Youth Soccer Association,” said Ian Barker, United Soccer Coaches Director of Coaching Education. “Through the reach of FYSA in connecting coaches across the state of Florida and our educational content and coaching resources we can continue the ongoing support and education of coaches.”

FYSA’s Director of Coaching, Mike Strickler said, “FYSA is happy to work with United Soccer Coaches in encouraging our coaches with more opportunities to learn in the area of soccer.” Assistant Director of Coaching, Mark Godwin added, “As we look to restart soccer here in the United States and especially here in Florida, our partnership with United Soccer Coaches, in accordance with our core values and mission statement, will provide all our members access to increased benefits for educational development targeted to our coaches, administrators, volunteers and our players.”
