KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Sept. 27, 2022) – The top teams remain undefeated on the latest United Soccer Coaches fall high school boys’ and girls’ soccer rankings, the association announced on Tuesday.St. Ignatius (Cleveland, Ohio) improved to 9-0-0, while claiming first on the boys’ poll. St. Benedict’s Prep (Newark, N.J.) claimed second, followed by Scarsdale (Scarsdale, N.Y.) in third, Detroit Central Catholic (Novi, Mich.) in fourth, and Saint Thomas Aquinas (Overland Park, Kan.) in fifth.On the girls’ side, Mars Area (Mars, Pa.) claimed the No. 1 spot, while extending their unbeaten streak to seven games in a row. Bearden (Knoxville, Tenn.) earned the No. 2 spot again this week, followed by Newton South (Newton, Mass.) in the No. 3 spot. Rounding out the Top 5 is Lone Peak (Highland, Utah) and Reitz Memorial (Evansville, Ind.) tied for fourth.
