KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Mar. 16, 2021) — United Soccer Coaches released the latest regular season high school boys’ and girls’ winter soccer rankings, sponsored by Verizon, on Tuesday. The boys’ poll saw a new team take the top spot, while St. John’s Country Day School (Orange Park, Fla.) remains atop the girls’ poll.
Catholic (Baton Rouge, La.) moved from No. 7 in the last rankings to claim the top spot on the boys’ winter high school rankings this week. Lake Travis (Austin, Texas) and Clemens (Schertz, Texas) took over the second and third spots respectively, after being previously unranked. No. 4 Gulf Coast (Naples, Fla.) and No. 5 San Luis (San Luis, Ariz.) round out the top five of the boys’ rankings this week.
St. John’s Country Day School (Orange Park, Fla.) continues its reign at the top of the girls’ rankings with Prosper (Prosper, Texas) moving up one spot to No. 2. Previously unranked Casteel Creek (Phoenix, Ariz.) and Ridge Point (Missouri Creek, Texas) took over the third and fourth spots this week. Mount Carmel Academy (New Orleans, La.) rounds out the Top 5 in the girls’ rankings.
