Little movement at top of latest High School Rankings

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Sept. 18, 2018) – United Soccer Coaches and USA TODAY High School Sports released today the latest set of boys and girls regular season soccer polls in the USA TODAY/United Soccer Coaches Super 25 Fall Rankings.

St. Benedict’s Prep in Newark, N.J. continues to hold down the top spot in the boys’ rankings with St. Ignatius of Cleveland, Ohio sitting in second for the third consecutive week. Naperville North (Naperville, Ill.) moved up one spot to third, while Salesianum School (Wilmington, Del.) fell back one spot to No. 4 and Commack (Commack, N.Y.) rounded out the top five for the second straight poll.

The top two teams in the girls poll remained the same with Northern Highlands Regional (Allendale, N.J.) at No. 1 and Jesuit (Portland, Ore.) staying at No. 2. Newton South (Newton Mass) moved up one spot to No. 3 while McDonogh School (Owings Mills, Md.) stayed at No. 4 and Spencerport (Spencerport, N.Y.) moved back into the top five.
