Our annual Giving Tuesday event will be conducted on Tuesday, November 29th.

This year, the emphasis will be to generate donations that go towards our For the Good of the Game Fund. These funds provide the flexibility to support a wide range of soccer good works initiatives for a soccer program or member needing assistance in support of their soccer program or personal situation.

Funds can also be donated to a specific endowed fund. These funds are restricted for use in supporting Foundation grants and scholarships. These are the funds awarded annually by the Foundation for a member to attend a soccer educational experience; the convention; or for a program host-a-course grant.

In the past, For the Good of the Game Funds have been awarded to support the purchase of a new van for a member coach who uses a wheelchair. Grants were awarded to members whose soccer programs were negatively impacted by Hurricane Katrina. And recently, the Foundation has awarded a grant to a high school in Florida to support the replacement of soccer balls, uniforms, cones and an equipment shed destroyed by hurricane Ian.

The For the Good of the Game Fund expands our opportunities to help soccer coaches and the important work they do. Please join us to support Giving Tuesday on or before November 29th and giving to the For the Good of the Game Fund.
