KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Sept. 4, 2018) – United Soccer Coaches and USA TODAY High School Sports released today the first boys and girls regular season soccer polls in the USA TODAY/United Soccer Coaches Super 25 Fall Rankings.

St. Benedict’s Prep in Newark, N.J. is off to a 5-0 start this season and grabbed the top spot in the boys’ rankings with St. Ignatius of Cleveland, Ohio sitting in second at 2-0. Blue Valley Southwest (Overland Park, Kan.), McQuaid Jesuit (Rochester, N.Y.) and Marquette University High (Milwaukee, Wis.) round out the top five.

Jesuit out of Portland, Ore. is 2-0 on the season and took the top spot in the girls’ rankings with 4-0 Loveland (Loveland, Ohio) coming in second. Northern Highlands Regional (Allendale, N.J.), Spencerport (Spencerport, N.Y.) and Newton South (Newton, Mass.) round out the girls’ top five.
