Final Rankings Released for NJCAA Division I and NCCAA Division II

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Nov. 21, 2018) – On Wednesday, United Soccer Coaches released the final national rankings for NJCAA Division I men’s and women’s soccer as well as NCCAA Division II men and women.

Down a man and down 1-0 in the game, Pima Community College rallied for a 2-1 win over Barton Community College to claim the program’s first NJCAA National Championship in men’s soccer.

Monroe College captured the school’s second NJCAA women’s soccer title in five years, rallying to beat defending national champion Tyler Junior College 3-1.

North Central University captured its first NCCAA Division II men’s soccer national championship, defeating Kentucky Christian 3-0 last Saturday in Greenville, S.C.

Grace Christian University captured the NCCAA Division II women’s title in a shootout over top-seeded and three-time defending champion Bob Jones University. It is the first national championship for the Tigers.

United Soccer Coaches will release the final rankings for NCAA Division I (women only), NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, Junior College Division III and NCCAA Division I on Tuesday, Dec. 4.
