Final NCAA DI Men’s Regular Season Rankings Released

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Nov. 13, 2018) – On Tuesday, United Soccer Coaches released the final regular season rankings for NCAA Division I men’s soccer.

After spending the previous four weeks at No. 2, Indiana took over the top spot in the poll. The Hoosiers captured the Big Ten Tournament title over the weekend and enter the NCAA Tournament at 17-2-1 overall.

Wake Forest dropped out of the top spot to No. 2 in the rankings after losing to No. 5 Louisville in overtime in the ACC Tournament semifinals. The Demon Deacons enter the NCAA Tournament at 17-2-0.

Kentucky stayed put at No. 3 in the final regular season poll and the Wildcats were followed by Saint Mary’s (Calif.) at No. 4 and Louisville in fifth.

On Monday, the NCAA released the Men’s Division I Championship bracket featuring a field of 48 teams. Tournament play will get underway on Thursday, Nov. 15 with 16 first round matches and will conclude with the NCAA College Cup on Dec. 7 and 9 in Santa Barbara, Calif.
