Fall Week 12 and Winter Preseason High School Rankings Released

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Nov. 20, 2018) – United Soccer Coaches and USA TODAY High School Sports released the 12th boys and girls polls in the USA TODAY/United Soccer Coaches Super 25 Fall Rankings on Tuesday along with the Winter Preseason Rankings.

There was no change among the top five teams in the boys fall poll with St. Benedict’s Prep in Newark, N.J., Naperville North (Naperville, Ill.), Nauset Regional (Eastham, Mass.), Martin Luther King, Jr. (New York, N.Y.) and Marquette University High (Milwaukee, Wis.) sitting one through five for the second straight week. The top four teams all have perfect records.

The girls poll has Jesuit (Portland, Ore.) once again sitting in the No. 1 spot at 19-0-0. Beavercreek (Beavercreek, Ohio) is second again at 23-0-0 with LaSalle Academy (Providence, R.I.) third. Northern Highlands Regional (Allendale, N.J.) moved up three spots from sixth into a tie for third and McDonogh School (Owings Mills, Md.) rounds out the top five.

In the Winter Preseason Rankings, Alief Elsik (Houston, Texas) and St. John’s Country Day School (Orange Park, Fla.) are the No. 1 ranked teams in the boys and girls polls, respectively. Alief Elsik finished the 2017-18 season with a 22-0-2 record, while St. John’s Country Day School finished 26-0-0.
