ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Jan. 9, 2026) – NC State junior forward Donavan Phillip and Stanford senior forward Jasmine Aikey were named the winners of the 2025 Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) Hermann Trophy, on Friday at the MAC’s annual banquet. Phillip (Castries, Saint Lucia) tallied 19 goals in leading the Wolfpack to the College Cup finals and Aikey (Palo Alto, Calif.) led the Cardinal with 53 points behind her 21 goals and 11 assists as Stanford posted a 21-2-2 record in winning the ACC championship and reaching the College Cup Final.
Phillp, the 2025 ACC Offensive Player of the Year, paced the Pack to a 16-3-4 record on the way to leading all NCAA Division I men’s players in scoring. He was named a United Soccer Coaches First Team All-America selection. Runners-up for the men’s award were University of Washington senior forward Richie Aman (Hanover, N.H.) and Grand Canyon University freshman forward Junior Diouf (Thies, Senegal).
Aikey led NCAA Division I in points and ranked second nationally in game-winning goals and third in goals. Overall, she tallied at least one goal in 16 of her 25 matches to go along with five multi-goal games while picking up United Soccer Coaches First Team All-America honors. This year’s runners up for the women’s award were Florida State junior forward Jordynn Dudley (Milton, Ga.) and University of Notre Dame sophomore forward Izzy Engle (Edina, Minn.).
The MAC Hermann Trophy, a 10-pound crystal soccer ball awarded annually since 1967, honors the United Soccer Coaches National Players of the Year in NCAA Division I men’s and women’s soccer based on voting conducted by member coaches.
