KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Oct. 19, 2021) — United Soccer Coaches released the latest fall high school boys’ and girls’ soccer rankings, sponsored by Verizon, on Tuesday. Bearden (Knoxville, Tenn.) and Edina (Edina, Minn.) tie for first this week on the girls’ poll, while St. Ignatius (Cleveland, Ohio) remains atop the boys’ poll.
On the boys’ poll, St. Ignatius (Cleveland, Ohio) maintained its No. 1 position, followed by St. Benedict’s Prep (Newark, N.J.) in second, and Martin Luther King, Jr. (New York, N.Y.) in third. Arapahoe (Littleton, Colo.) and Marquette University High (Milwaukee, Wis.) remain in No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.
On the girls’ poll this week, Bearden (Knoxville, Tenn.) and Edina (Edina, Minn.) tie for No. 1, while Mars Area (Mars, Pa.) ascends to No. 3. Rounding out the Top 5 are New Hartford (New Hartford, N.Y.) in fourth and Hingham (Hingham, Mass.) in fifth.
