KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Sept. 11, 2026) – United Soccer Coaches announced on Friday the High School Team Academic Award winners, recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year.
A total of 218 soccer teams (90 boys, 128 girls) posted a team grade point average of 3.25 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year. Of that total, 29 schools had both their boys and girls programs recognized.
The team GPA is determined by adding every player’s GPA, then dividing by the number of players.
