KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Dec. 16, 2022) – The United Soccer Coaches Elections and Nomination Committee is proud to announce the three candidates for the Vice President position to serve on the Board of Directors. 

  • Sarah Dwyer-Shick, Beacon, N.Y.
  • Mike Lynch, Charlotte, N.C.
  • Kendall Reyes, Boiling Springs, S.C.

The United Soccer Coaches Board of Director election voting will open on January 2, 2023. The voting process is done by a third-party service (Intelliscan) to ensure integrity. Personalized ballots will be sent via email to every full member, in good standing, of United Soccer Coaches on Monday, January 3, 2023. A repeat ballot will be sent again on Monday, January 9, 2023, for those who did not vote using the ballot emailed on January 2.

The elected candidate will join the United Soccer Coaches Board of Directors. The Board of Directors recently named two new At-Large Representatives, Dan Woog and Eden Brown Gaines.

Dan Woog joins the Board of Directors as the new Advocacy Board Member. Dan recently retired as the long-time Boys’ Soccer Coach at Staples High School in Connecticut and has worked closely with Sue Ryan on advocacy issues related to the Coaches Communities.

Eden Brown Gaines joins the Board of Directors as the Board Member for Legal Affairs. Eden is the Managing Partner of Brown Gaines, LLC in Washington, DC, and represents clients in governance, public procurement, commercial law, and employment law.
