(Nov. 30, 2022) — United Soccer Coaches announced the 2022 NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s All-Americans on Wednesday.Among the 47 men’s soccer players receiving All-American recognition, nine student-athletes are earning the second All-America honors of their careers: Messiah senior forward Jake Lent-Koop; Calvin junior midfielder Oliver Akintade; Montclair State sophomore forward Amer Lukovic; University of Lynchburg senior forward Luke Mega; Roger Williams senior midfielder Javier Beltran; St. Olaf College senior midfielder Victor Gaulmin and Washington & Lee senior midfielders Michael Kutsanzira and Samuel Bass and Messiah senior midfielder Luke Groothoff.On the women’s side, seven out of the 45 student-athletes receiving recognition are earning the second All-America honors of their careers: Trinity senior defender Bailey Meyer; Loras senior midfielder Payton McDonnell; Christopher Newport GR-5 forward Sarah Smith; McDaniel GR-5 midfielder Jules Dotterweich; Johns Hopkins sophomore forward Katie Sullivan; Massachusetts Institute of Technology GR-5 forward Karenna Groff and Misericordia GR-5 midfielder Michaela Fasolino and sophomore freshman Emma Sweitzer.This year’s All-Americans will be recognized for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony & Reception on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
