KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Dec. 7, 2022) – United Soccer Coaches announced the association’s 2022 NCCAA Men’s and Women’s All-America Teams on Wednesday. Grace College senior forward Martim Sequeira and Cedarville University junior goalkeeper Brooke Ackley were named 2022 NCCAA Players of the Year.Among the 30 total players (15 men, 15 women) on the NCCAA All-America Teams, three men’s players are earning honors for the second time in their playing careers: Cedarville senior goalkeeper Jared Zacharias, Pensacola Christian senior defender Clint Peterson and Campbellsville junior forward Sebastiano Musu.Out of the 15 women recognized, four are earning All-America honors for the second time in their player careers: Cedarville junior goalkeeper Brooke Ackley, Ottawa University Arizona senior midfielder Paige Murray-Hernandez, and Grace College senior midfielder Madison Tuma and senior forward JJ Aalbue. All players honored as NCCAA All-Americans will be recognized for their accomplishments at the All-America Ceremony & Reception on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
