KANSAS CITY, Mo. (May 14, 2021) — United Soccer Coaches announced the 2020-21 NAIA Men’s and Women’s All-America Teams on Friday.
45 total student-athletes (23 men’s players and 22 women’s players) were named to the All-America Teams.
Included in the 23 players named to the 2020-21 NAIA Men’s All-America Team is Oklahoma Wesleyan senior defender Stefan Lukic who is earning the fourth All-America selection of his career and Missouri Valley College senior midfielder Luka Gluscevic who was named 2020 Player of the Year.
In addition, Oklahoma Wesleyan University senior defender Julio Belo is earning his third All-America designation and three players are earning the second All-America designations of their career: Oklahoma Wesleyan junior midfielder Stefan Cvetanovic, Georgia Gwinnett senior midfielder Toni Tiente, and Central Methodist junior defender Marcos German.
Among the 22 student-athletes on the women’s list, seven are earning the second All-America honor of their career: Marian sophomore defender, Sydney Genetempo, Keiser sophomore defender Maja Henriksson, Martin Methodist senior forward Adisa Amang, Marian sophomore forward Erin Oleksak, Keiser junior forward Matilda Ovenberger, William Carey senior forward Ana Paula Santos, and Oklahoma Wesleyan senior forward Marjolen Nekesa. Henriksson was also named Player of the Year in 2020.
This year’s All-Americans will be recognized as part of the United Soccer Coaches College Awards Ceremony, which will be made available to view online as a digital event beginning June 30.
