United Soccer Coaches has partnered with leading insurance providers to offer Members a $1 million general liability policy and health insurance opportunities. Please review our Advertising Disclaimer. 

General Liability Insurance

This coverage is a personal liability policy (excess) that follows the member in their soccer coaching and teaching capacity. It is underwritten by K&K Insurance Group and rated “A+” (excellent) by A.M. Best. Because it is an association-held policy, additional insured cannot be added to the policy, nor can the limits be changed.

This coverage typically comes into play when a lawsuit is filed against the coach for bodily injury or property damage. If additional insured verbiage needs to be included, coverage can be purchased through the “Coaches’ Choice” sports program through Risk Strategies Company, our endorsed insurance provider. *Coverage for Legal Liability to Participants, $1 million limit, is another benefit included in your membership Liability policy. 

NOTE: 

• Legal Liability to Participants coverage is contingent upon the required use of an approved Waiver/Release form to be signed by all participants. A sample waiver can be provided to assist with this requirement.
• Legal Liability to Participants coverage ($1 million limit) is contingent upon a minimum limit of $25,000 Excess Participant Accident coverage purchased by or on behalf of all participants. If this Excess Participant Accident coverage is not in place at the time of loss, and/or proof of this coverage cannot be provided, there would be no coverage under this policy if/when a Participant Legal Liability claim occurred.
