The Head Boys Soccer Coach, Greg Winkler, applied for the For the Good of the Game grant due to Hurricane Ian. “Oftentimes we are asked as members to give a donation to the Foundation and we may never see the results. For those coaches that have given in the past – I, my team, thank you. I would’ve never thought something like this could happen, but it did and my gratitude for United Soccer Coaches and our growing coaching community continues to grow.”

“On March 13, 2020, I was presented with a check from United Soccer Coaches’ For the Good of the Game Fund to assist me to purchase a new adaptive handicap van.

This financial assistance for the new vehicle allowed me to continue my passion for serving the community as a wheelchair bound soccer coach and aided in my continued independence...The donation I received from the fund was absolutely instrumental in bringing normalcy back to my life and I am certain future donations will continue to bring a positive impact to United Soccer Coaches members who are in need. I am a proud member of this wonderful organization and I thank you once again for your assistance during my difficult time.”
