The picture below highlights the most recent For the Good of the Game grant recipient, Charlotte High School, Punta Gorda, FL. The Head Boys Soccer Coach, Greg Winkler, applied for the For the Good of the Game grant due to Hurricane Ian. The Foundation was able to award this team a grant to help them with replenishing their equipment lost during the storm.

“Oftentimes we are asked as members to give a donation to the Foundation and we may never see the results. For those coaches that have given in the past – I, my team, thank you. I would’ve never thought something like this could happen, but it did and my gratitude for United Soccer Coaches and our growing coaching community continues to grow.”

“On March 13, 2020, I was presented with a check from United Soccer Coaches’ For the Good of the Game Fund to assist me to purchase a new adaptive handicap van.

This financial assistance for the new vehicle allowed me to continue my passion for serving the community as a wheelchair bound soccer coach and aided in my continued independence...The donation I received from the fund was absolutely instrumental in bringing normalcy back to my life and I am certain future donations will continue to bring a positive impact to United Soccer Coaches members who are in need. I am a proud member of this wonderful organization and I thank you once again for your assistance during my difficult time.”
