Please note: College Services registration is required in order to nominate, vote, and have players selected.

NCAA Divisions I, II and III Men and Women Process

The NCAA Division I, II and III All-Region and All-America selection process begins with coaches who are members of United Soccer Coaches College Services program.  Coaches have a choice with their nominations. They may nominate up to five (5) field players (in rank order, 1-5) OR nominate up to four (4) field players (in rank order, 1-4)  and a goalkeeper for postseason recognition. After the nomination period closes, coaches begin an all-opponent voting period where they see only those players nominated from teams they played during the regular season and select up to 22 players (1st and 2nd team). An All-America formula is then applied to the voting which includes factors such as the player ranking, success of the team and total votes received from eligible voters.

NAIA, NCCAA and Junior College Men and Women Process

NAIA and Junior Colleges use the same online nomination platform for coaches to nominate their players for United Soccer Coaches postseason honors, but they do not vote online. NCCAA does not use the online nomination platform and have their own ballots circulated by their committees. After nominations close for NAIA, NCCAA and Junior College coaches, selection is administered by committees set up by each organization which reviews nominees and evaluates the players based on their own criteria.
