Top teams mostly unchanged as college season hits the home stretch
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Oct. 30, 2018) - With the postseason having already begun for some teams and the regular season winding down for others, 13 of the 14 top-ranked teams from a week ago remained the same in the latest United Soccer Coaches College rankings released on Tuesday.

Wake Forest remains atop the NCAA Division I men's poll for the third straight week, while Stanford continues its season-long stay atop the women's poll.
The top teams in NCAA Division II remained unbeaten with Simon Fraser leading the men's rankings with a 16-0-0 mark and Grand Valley State sitting at No. 1 in the women's poll at 16-0-1.
At the NCAA Division III level, Messiah College remained unbeaten at 15-0-2 and is No. 1 for the second straight week in the men's poll. Washington University (Mo.) is ranked No. 1 on the women's side for the sixth consecutive week with a 16-0-0 record.
Marshalltown Community College sits atop the NJCAA Men's Division I ranking for the third straight week, while Tyler Junior College is once again in the top spot in the women's poll. In NJCAA Division III, Cerritos College continues to hold the No.1 spot in both the men's and women's rankings.
At the NCCAA Division I level Oklahoma Wesleyan has the top-ranked men's team, while Grace College took over the top spot in the women's poll. In NCCAA Division II Bob Jones University has the top squads on the men's and women's side again this week.
United Soccer Coaches college rankings, released every Tuesday during the regular season, are an indicator of the week-to-week status of qualified programs and in no way should be used as a guide or indicator of eligibility for championship selection. To be eligible for consideration in United Soccer Coaches college rankings, a school must be a member of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program.
