Latest college rankings see five new teams at No. 1 in their respective polls
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Oct. 9, 2018) - Five new teams moved into the No. 1 spot in their respective rankings as United Soccer Coaches released the latest set of rankings for men's and women's college soccer on Tuesday.

Note: The NAIA will release its men's and women's polls later today.
North Carolina takes over as the new No. 1 team in the Division I men's poll, while Stanford remains atop the women's ranking, where they have been all season.
Simon Fraser remains atop the NCAA Division II men's rankings, while Grand Valley State takes over as the No. 1 team in the women's poll.
At the NCAA Division III level, the University of Chicago climbs to No. 1, while Washington University (Mo.) holds down the No. 1 ranking on the women's side for the third consecutive week.
Tyler Junior College is No. 1 in the NJCAA Men's Division I ranking for the second straight week, while Navarro College does the same in the women's poll. In NJCAA Division III, Cerritos College took over the top spot in the men's poll and now has the No. 1-ranked team in both the men's and women's rankings.
At the NCCAA Division I level Oklahoma Wesleyan stayed put at No. 1 in the men's poll as did Trinity Christian College in the women's ranking for the fourth straight week. In NCCAA Division II, Kentucky Christian took over the No. 1 ranking in the men's poll, while Bob Jones University hangs on to the No. 1 spot on the women's side.
United Soccer Coaches college rankings, released every Tuesday during the regular season, are an indicator of the week-to-week status of qualified programs and in no way should be used as a guide or indicator of eligibility for championship selection. To be eligible for consideration in United Soccer Coaches college rankings, a school must be a member of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program.
