NSCAA Introduces New Mission and Vision Statements
KANSAS CITY, MO (February 8, 2017) – The National Soccer Coaches Association of America set forth new vision and mission statements on Wednesday.
Vision: The Association is the trusted and unifying voice, advocate, and partner for coaches of all levels of the game.
Mission: The Association provides programs and services that enhance, encourage, and contribute to the development and recognition of soccer coaches, their players, and the game we love.
Founded in 1941, the NSCAA continues to grow with more than 30,000 members in the United States and across the global game. These statements, approved by the NSCAA Board of Directors at the 2017 NSCAA Convention in Los Angeles, reflect the association’s advancement as the world’s largest organization for soccer coaches.
“Our members are the heartbeat of the association and their collective love of the game is in many ways the driving force for all that we do,” said NSCAA CEO Lynn Berling-Manuel. “We have the tremendous opportunity to unite and elevate the coaching community. Our new vision and mission are indicative of this commitment to embracing and expanding our membership as we focus on the future.”
“The Association has become a leader in the sport by continually striving to support soccer coaches and their players through purposeful education, advocacy and service,” said NSCAA President Charlie Slagle. “These new elements embody the dynamic evolution of our programs and the organization’s objectives as we move forward in the years ahead.”
These vision and mission statements will be featured across the Association, including the NSCAA Bylaws, NSCAA.com, NSCAA social media channels and in the NSCAA National Office in Kansas City, Mo.
