Anson Dorrance and Lynn Berling-Manuel

(August 3, 2017) - Now available every Thursday, the United Soccer Coaches Podcast, presented by TeamSnap, welcomes University of North Carolina head coach Anson Dorrance and United Soccer Coaches CEO Lynn Berling-Manuel to this week's show.

Berling-Manuel, who became the first female CEO of United Soccer Coaches (formerly NSCAA) in 2015, is a 12-year member of the association's Board of Directors and has attended more than 40 United Soccer Coaches Conventions over the course of her career in soccer as the former Chief Marketing Officer for the American Youth Soccer Organization and CEO/Publisher of Soccer America.

Dorrance, a United Soccer Coaches member since 1975, is entering his 41st season as a head coach at the University of North Carolina. He has won 22 national championships and is approaching his 1,000th win at the university with a career coaching record of 809-67-36 for the women (1979-present) and 172-65-21 with the men (1977-1988). Dorrance also acted as head coach of the U.S. Women's National Team from 1986-1994, winning the first FIFA Women's World Cup in 1991. He was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2008 and recently received U.S. Soccer's highest honor, the Werner Fricker Builder Award, in 2016.
