Registration Deadline: February 21, 2018 - If space is available after this date all course fees increase by $200.

Course Fees: $650 for United Soccer Coaches Members, $745 for non-United Soccer Coaches members.

NEW FOR 2018: Directed learning time has been reduced to 40 hours of time together as a full class. Each coach then schedules a one hour field assessment at your venue using your players and the instructors will come to you!

Check-InRegistration will be held, for all candidates, beginning at 1:00pm on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Georgia Morse Middle School, located at 309 E. Capitol Ave., Pierre, SD 57501. Registration and all classroom sessions will be held at the school. All field sessions wll be held at the Pierre Indian Learning Center. Please be sure you have checked in and have your course materials by 3:00pm when the course begins.
Travel InformationFor those candidates flying to Pierre for the course, the Pierre Regional Airport is the closest, approximately 3.5 miles from the course location.
Pre-Course AssignmentThere are no assignments due prior to the start of this course.
MealsAs part of the course fees, candidates will be provided three meals throughout the course. United Soccer Coaches will have meals on-site for the candidates for lunch and dinner on the first Saturday of the course and for dinner on the second Saturday of the course. Candidates will be responsible for all other meals throughout the course.
What to BringEarly April weather in Pierre averages high temperatures in the mid-50's and low temperatures in the low-30's. We suggest sunscreen and caps and to always be prepared in case of rain. Among other personal items, you should bring a polo/golf shirt, shin guards, a notebook with paper, pens and pencils, practice gear, training suit, rain suit, soccer shoes and flats. You do not need to bring a soccer ball as those are provided to candidates on site.
Course SafetyUnited Soccer Coaches reminds coaches that they must have their own insurance coverage. United Soccer Coaches will not be responsible for medical payment for injuries which occur as a result of participation in the course. United Soccer Coaches also reminds coaches to wear shin guards for practical sessions. Coaches participating in practical sessions without wearing shin guards do so at their own risk.
CEU OpportunityCandidates can earn 5 CEU's (continuing education units) through the United States Sports Academy by completing the National, Advanced National, Premier and Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma courses.
