Check-InRegistration will be held in the Media Center at Chestatee High School located at 3005 Sardis Road, Gainesville, GA 30506 beginning at 4:00 pm on Friday, January 24, 2020. The opening session will begin at 4:45pm.
Travel InformationPlease wait until you receive e-mail notification from the United Soccer Coaches National Office that the course has enough candidates to move forward before booking your travel or lodging. Gainesville is located approximately 65 miles northeast of Atlanta-Jackson-Hartsfield International Airport.
Pre-Course AssignmentThere are no assignments due prior to the start of this course.
MealsAs part of the course fees, candidates will be provided three meals throughout the course. United Soccer Coaches will have meals on-site for the candidates for lunch and dinner on the first Saturday of the course and for dinner on the second Saturday of the course. Candidates will be responsible for all other meals throughout the course.
Lodging InformationThere are several hotels in the Gainesville area including the Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn listed below. These hotels are situated in downtown Gainesville approximately seven miles from the high school.

What to BringPlease bring gear appropriate for the time spent outdoors at this time of year. Among other personal items, you should bring a polo/golf shirt, shin guards, a notebook with paper, pens and pencils, practice gear, training suit, rain suit, soccer shoes and flats. You do not need to bring a soccer ball as those are provided to candidates on site.
Course SafetyUnited Soccer Coaches reminds all coaches that they must have their own insurance coverage. United Soccer Coaches will not be responsible for medical payment for injuries which occur as a result of participation in the course. United Soccer Coaches also reminds coaches to wear shin guards for practical sessions. Coaches participating in practical sessions without wearing shin guards do so at their own risk.
CEU OpportunityCandidates can earn 5 CEU's (continuing education units) through the United States Sports Academy by completing the National, Advanced National, Premier and Advanced National Goalkeeping Diplomas.
