Check-InRegistration will be held for all candidates beginning at 3:30pm pm on Friday, June 21, 2019 in the Ebeid Center at Lourdes University, located at 6832 Convent Blvd., Sylvania, OH 43560. Check-in and all classroom sessions will be held in the Ebeid Center and field sessions will be held on the mid-campus field.
Travel InformationYou will be responsible for all your own travel arrangements. The Toledo Express Airport is the closest to the course site, about 10 miles from the center of Sylvania. The Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport is also an option, about 40 miles from Sylvania. Please wait until you receive an email from the United Soccer Coaches National Office that the course has the minimum number of candidates to go ahead before booking your travel.
Pre-Course AssignmentThere are no assignments due prior to the start of this course.
MealsAs part of the course fees, candidates will be provided three meals throughout the course. United Soccer Coaches will have meals on-site for the candidates for lunch and dinner on the first Saturday of the course and for dinner on the second Saturday of the course. Candidates will be responsible for all other meals throughout the course.

What to BringPlease bring gear appropriate for the time spent outdoors at this time of year. Among other personal items, you should bring a polo/golf shirt, shin guards, a notebook with paper, pens and pencils, practice gear, training suit, rain suit, soccer shoes and flats. You do not need to bring a soccer ball as those are provided to candidates on site.
Course SafetyUnited Soccer Coaches reminds all coaches that they must have their own insurance coverage. United Soccer Coaches will not be responsible for medical payment for injuries which occur as a result of participation in the course. United Soccer Coaches also reminds coaches to wear shin guards for practical sessions. Coaches participating in practical sessions without wearing shin guards do so at their own risk.
CEU OpportunityCandidates can earn 5 CEU's (continuing education units) through the United States Sports Academy by completing the National, Advanced National, Premier and Advanced National Goalkeeping Diplomas.
