All candidates are responsible for their own travel to the course.

This course has prerequisites. If you do not see a registration button please make sure you are logged in and have completed the prerequisites for this course.

This course is a GO. Please feel free to make any necessary travel arrangements for the course. If you are still interested in registering for the course, registration will be open until June 22, 2018 or as long as space is available. All course fees will increase by $200 after June 22, 2018.

Course Fees: $1,300 for United Soccer Coaches Members, $1,395 for non-United Soccer Coaches members.

Commuter Fees (no housing included): $1,100 for United Soccer Coaches Members, $1,195 for non-United Soccer Coaches Members.

NEW FOR 2018: Directed learning time has been reduced to 40 hours of time together as a full class. Each coach then schedules a one hour field assessment at your venue using your players and the instructors will come to you!

Check-InAll course participants, including commuters, should arrive on Monday, July 23rd, in time to check-in between 1:00-2:45 pm. Check-in will be in the lobby of the Residence Village. Candidates should plan departure no earlier than 2:00 pm on Friday, July 27th.
Travel InformationTransportation to and from Regis University is the responsibility of each candidate. The area is served by the Denver International Airport - located approximately 20 miles from the Regis University campus. Course candidates should plan arrival for Monday, July 23rd, in time to check-in between 1:00-2:45 pm and should plan departure no earlier than 2:00 pm on Friday, July 27th.

Candidates are responsible for their own transportation from the airport to the campus and for return transportation to the airport upon departure. Taxicabs are also available and the airport is serviced by most rental car agencies for anyone interested in leasing a vehicle for the week.
Pre-Course AssignmentThere are no assignments due prior to the start of this course.
MealsCandidates are provided 11 meals as a part of the registration fee, including four (4) breakfasts, three (3) lunches and four (4) dinners. Meal service begins with dinner on Monday, July 23rd and ends with breakfast on Friday, July 27th. Food-service hours for the academy will be announced at the first academy meeting on Monday evening (July 23rd). Cost of any additional meals, en route to and from Regis University, is the responsibility of each candidate.
Lodging InformationAcademy lodging will be in the Residence Village located on the Regis University campus. Rooms will be reserved for all candidates, prior to the course, by United Soccer Coaches based on double occupancy. Requests for roommates will be honored, if possible, but must be requested no later than June 22, 2018.

Residence Village is a fully air-conditioned hall. The room package includes pillows, linens, one blanket and towel service. You should bring soap, shampoo, extra towels, and other personal items.

The United Soccer Coaches Academy fee covers the cost of four nights lodging (July 23-27). Candidates arriving prior to July 23rd and departing after July 27th are responsible for the cost of additional nights lodging and should make their own arrangements.

Single RoomsThere are a limited number of single rooms available for the course. Those candidates requesting a single room will be charged an additional $300 to have a single room for the duration of the course. Requests should be e-mailed to Allison Pronske at apronske@unitedsoccercoaches.org.
What to BringThe July weather in Denver is usually warm to hot. We recommend being prepared for rain and strongly suggest sunscreen and caps. Among other personal items, you should bring a polo/golf shirt, shin guards, a notebook with paper, pens and pencils, practice gear, training suit, rain suit, soccer shoes and flats. All candidates will receive a ball, ball pump, water bottle and 3 scrimmage vests on-site.
Course SafetyUnited Soccer Coaches reminds course candidates that they must have their own insurance coverage. United Soccer Coaches will not be responsible for medical payment for injuries which occur as a result of participation in the course. United Soccer Coaches also reminds all course candidates to wear shin guards for practical sessions. Coaches participating in practical sessions without wearing shin guards do so at their own risk.
CEU OpportunityCandidates can earn 5 CEU's (continuing education units) through the United States Sports Academy by completing the National, Advanced National, Premier and Advanced National Goalkeeping Diplomas.
